ABOUT ANNIE BOOCHEVER
Worlds Largest ConcertOne of the highlights of my music teaching career was participation in the World’s Largest Concert with 300 elementary students singing together in front of the Mendenhall Glacier.

Author’s Biography
I have an MFA in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts. Prior to that my teaching career spanned four decades. I was an elementary music teacher, librarian, and co-founder of a children’s theater. Later I taught high school English and creative writing to high school students as well as arts integration classes for the University of Alaska Southeast, Masters of Teaching (MAT) program.
During all that time promoting understanding between cultures has been my passion. I wrote and produced more than a dozen multicultural musical plays for elementary students to perform for their communities. Two were commissioned and produced by youth theater programs in Alaska.
When I am not writing, I love to swim, ski, play piano, garden, and spend time with my grandchildren. I now live in Bellingham, WA with my husband, Scott, and a Dutch dog of dazzling emotional intelligence named ZZ.
